Roadtrip Sleeping Gear

• Removable bed built into the Subaru (thanks, Mom! A sleeping bag will suffice if you don’t want to put a bed in your car!)
• A bottom sheet from a set of massage table sheets (thanks, Mom!)
• Grand Trunk Bamboo Travel Sheet
• Regular fleece throw ($10 at Kirkland’s)
• Regular pillow and pillowcase
• *K9 Sport Sack Inflatable Dog Bed (small, suitable for 45-lb dog)
• *Mammut Alpine Mat UL (cut in half, no longer sold so this will suffice for extra warmth/comfort)
• *Fleece dog blanket (for nesting)

Roadtrip Kitchen Gear

• Coleman One Burner Stove (blue!) and REDCAMP Windscreen
• Light My Fire 8-piece Meal Kit (pink!)
• UST FlexWare Collapsible Sink (orange!)
• Keith Titanium Multi-functional Cooker (cooks rice in 20 minutes)
• Lodge Cast Iron Skillet (6.5”)
• Keith Titanium Tea Infuser (works with coarsely ground coffee for a good cowboy coffee)
• Fozzils Bowl, Cup, and Plate (doubles for measuring cups)
• Docooler Ultralight Titanium Windscreen (for my backpacking camp stove)
• GSI Outdoors Pivot Tongs
• HealthPro Titanium Utensil Set
• Titanium Folding Camp Stove (the MSR PocketRocket is similar to what I have)
• Outdoor Edge ChowPal (the knife in this is LEGIT for cutting apples and such)
• (2) Butane Cans (for the Coleman stove, picked up at Wal-Mart)
• Primus Power Gas (for the backpacking stove)

Roadtrip Storage and Organization

• Ozark Trail 2-Person Tent (this Coleman alternative will suffice for holding your dispersed campsite during the day; we sleep in the car)
• 14-quart Plastic Storage Bins with Lids (under bed kitchen & safety storage)
• Coleman Cooler (not sure what model I have, but this is comparable and kept a couple of my reusable ice packs frozen for up to 5 days!!!)
• Ursack Critter Bag + OpSak (for dry foods & Violet’s food; we take this when we backpack, as well)
• Gobi Gear SegSac (clothes storage)
• HOTOR Car Vacuum
• 3-Drawer Plastic Container (stores lights, bathroom stuff, and essentials)
• Laptop Tray
• *Generic Tote Bag (to store all of Violet’s food and gear)

Roadtrip Bathroom Gear

• Deuce of Spades Trowel
• HEB Twice as Soft To-Go Rolls
• Baby Wipes
• Toothbrush
• Mouthwash and toothpaste
• Hair ties (I have long hair that has to be restrained)
• *Doggy Waste Bags (these pull double duty as a way to pack out TP)

Roadtrip Safety Gear

• First Alert Fire Extinguisher
• SealBuddy Free Diving Vest (inflatable water protection, don’t judge me)
• First Aid Kit
• Car Jump Starter with Air Compressor (I have a different one, but this is top of the line)
• Iodine tablets (just in case, ya know)

Roadtrip Car Essentials

• Car Sun Shades (for backseat windows)
• Windshield Sun Shade
• Dog Front Seat Cover (used in the backseat since I only have one seat)
• Portable Travel Mini Fan

Roadtrip Electronics

• GearIT Solar Pack (7 watts, just enough to charge my portable power pack and headlamp)
• Goal Zero Flip20 (charge before I leave, then charge again with solar panel as needed)

• Lander 6″ Lightning Cable (for my iPhone, only available now in 3ft+)

• Montbell Flashlight/Lantern Combo (no longer available, sorry!)

Roadtrip Dog Essentials

• *Hands-free Leash
• *6-ft Rope Leash
• *Tie Out Stakes (we carry two for the cable run)
• *10-Foot Cable
• *Outward Hound Collapsible Bowl (these don’t dry quickly, so we carry two to reduce leaks)
